Day Trip on the South Llano
The South Llano River is a gem. With its headwaters at 700 springs, the river holds enough water to stay navigable nearly 12 months a year. Deep, aquamarine pools are interrupted by rocky, shallow rapids. The river corridor is a haven for migratory birds, monarchs, exotic deer and other wildlife, and it is home to one of the healthiest populations of Guadalupe bass in the State.
We offer guided day trips on the South Llano, located near Junction, TX. On these trips, we will cover a distance of roughly 4-6 river miles in approximately 5-7 hours.
Because these trips are all-inclusive, we provide lunch, along with all of the necessary gear, including: boats, life jackets, paddles and dry bags. Visit our FAQ page to see our list of recommended river essentials, along with answers to other frequently asked questions.
Because of the distance and the amount of driving required, these trips require a minimum group size of 3 people.
