Weekend Basecamp on the South Llano

$325-375/person

The South Llano River is a gem. Flowing through a remote corner of the Hill Country that was known as the "Land of Living Waters" by the native tribes that inhabited this region, the river is fed by Seven Hundred Springs. These springs provide an constant supply of cool, clear, clean water -- enough to make the river navigable nearly 12 months a year.

The river corridor is a haven for migratory birds, monarchs, exotic deer and other wildlife, and it is home to one of the healthiest populations of Guadalupe bass in the state. Like any wild river, it is the starry skies, abundant wildlife and incredible scenery that set the Llano apart from the rest.

This all-inclusive, guided weekend trip is tailor made for those who want to experience a multi-day river trip without having to rough it. The trip combines 2 days of paddling on the beautiful South Llano River with at least one night's stay* at our South Llano Basecamp, located near Junction, Texas.

We partner with South Llano River State Park and use their campground as a basecamp for our 2-day adventure. This unique partnership allows us to pitch a deluxe and downright comfortable camp ahead of time, so that everything is already set up when you arrive.

*Customers have the option of arriving at the State Park on Friday evening or Saturday morning. Prices vary depending on group size.

  • Because these trips are all-inclusive, we handle all of the logistics, do all of the cooking, and provide all of the gear, including: boats, life jackets, paddles, dry bags, tents and sleeping pads. Visit our FAQ page to see our list of recommended river essentials, along with answers to other frequently asked questions.
